The England Society (The Society) is an umbrella organisation which co-ordinates and funds a number of English related campaigns, both social and political. In the longer term we aim to provide grants to organisations, both formal and amateur, individuals and companies in order to help promote a positive image of England and the English.

The Society's day-to-day operating expenses are funded out of member subscriptions and donations, merchandise sales and donations from our commercial partner company, Wintercorn. The Society is not affiliated or connected in any way to any other organisation except for those shown in our members section and receives no funding from any government body. We are not associated with any political party.

Our definition of Englishness is one of a civic and cultural identity, rather than ethnicity. We believe that the only way to reclaim our English national identity from those who have abused it in the past is to include within it those who regard themselves as English and are prepared to stand up for and put England first, whatever their origins.

We intend to create and maintain the conditions under which England and her people will become and remain dominant in their own country through political and cultural power. To act as an umbrella body for a wide range of other English organisations, seeking by the weight of numbers to present a more powerful voice to the public, media and government.

The England Society is frequently called upon to offer comment and opinion regarding English matters for newspapers, radio and television. We have also been mentioned in the press quite a bit and some of those occasions are listed here:
