 By joining The England Society, you join a growing network of like minded people willing to stand up and be counted. We are sick and tired of being treated like being English is some kind of disease. We are fed up with the poor representation we have in our own country. We are proud of our history and culture, despite the best efforts of politicians and social commentators to make us feel guilty.Â
You are not alone! Together we can make a difference. Let those in power see that we can act as one voice, let those retailers see that 'Made in England' is something we want to see on our shelves, let the E.U. hear that we don't want our Shire counties abolished for 'euro regions' and let our useless politicians see that we will have our English Parliament once again. England is on the rise again - isn't it time you joined in?

Action Alerts - Items which need an immediate response from our web based community. This could be polls, petitions, radio and television 'phone-ins, letters or meetings and demonstrations. Articles - We plan to publish articles by our members on a wide range of English subjects. Calendar - Listings of events from all over England. Historical, cultural, religious or just fun! Campaigns - Real world campaigns to bring awareness to important English issues. Correspondence - Letters to and from broadcasters, companies and politicians obtaining their opinion 'for the record'. Crusades - Join an activist group and work on a project with like minded people in a private environment. Directory - A database containing companies who source or manufacturer in England. Gallery - Pictures showing the best England has to offer from events to historical sites. JoTY Awards - Journalist of the year awards. Promoting a positive image of England. Library - We are building up a library of English themed books for lending and a downloadable library of PDF files with texts, scripts, reference guides and political fact sheets for interviews. Media Directory - An online directory of media contacts for press, radio, television and magazines. Newsdesk - The news that matters to England.
Projects - Various web based projects to bring attention to a multitude of English related issues. Social Networking - Your own profile page with your details, links, guestbook, posting history and awards. |
